Travel to Taiwan

Taiwan's international flights are well developed and there are two international airports, Taoyuan International Airport and Kaohsiung International Airport. Taoyuan International Airport is accessible by most major airlines. It is about 40 kilometers away from Taipei. Kaohsiung International Airport, located in the southern part of Taiwan, is a relatively smaller international airport.  The flight time from Taiwan to major cities such as Tokyo or Seoul in the Asia-Pacific region is about 3 hours. A direct flight from Taiwan to the west coast of the U.S. takes about 12 hours, and flights are frequent. EVA AIR and China Airlines are the two biggest Taiwan's international airlines.
