APCE 2008, the premier
international conference for microscale separations and analysis in
the Asia-Pacific region, will be held during November 2-5, 2008 in
Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Kaohsiung, a beautiful
harbor city, has all assets of a metropolis located in the southern
part of Taiwan. In the past decade, the APCE conferences were
previously held in Singapore (1996), Dalian, China (1998), Hong
Kong, China (2000), Shanghai, China (2002), Seoul, Korea (2004),
Kyoto, Japan (2006), and Singapore (2007).
APCE 2008 provides a forum for novel approaches in separation,
detection and sample preparation, in particular, capillary and
microchip-based separations and analysis in environmental,
pharmaceutical, and biomedical (proteomic, genomic and metabolomic)
applications, as well as biotechnology and micro/nanotechnology
applications. Attendees from governmental and industrial research
institutes and academia are invited to participate in the technical
program, which will include plenary, keynote and invited lectures,
contributed oral presentations and poster presentations. |
